Adam and family's 1979 Pontiac Trans Am

Adam brought his 1979 Pontiac Trans Am to us in running condition, but the car had certainly
seen better days. Years of use and misuse by previous owners had taken it's toll on this once proud Pontiac. We tore the entire
car down to a bare shell and carefully resurrected it, piece by piece, nut by nut, bolt by bolt......until it roared to life
again like the Phoenix rising out of it's long, black, beautiful hood.
This car was completely restored by Transformation Restorations, and it shows. If you happen to
see Adam at a car show or on the road, make sure to say hello and hope you don't have to compete against him.....because from
the mirror-like paint to the smooth rumble of it's engine.....this Trans Am is now ready to enjoy for another 30 years and
beyond. Thanks to Adam and his family for allowing us to build his dream car.

Introducing one of the latest members of the Transformation Restorations
family.......John and Jan from Odenton, MD and their beautiful 1975 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am!
John
and Jan contacted Transformation Restorations and wanted us to come to Maryland and check out their 1975 Trans Am. We went
down and found the car in decent condition.....but like many old Pontiacs, it had seen better days. Although it still ran
and drove well, the body and interior were showing major wear. The old acrylic enamel silver paint was literally falling off
in some spots, and the interior was suffering the wear and tear from 34 years of use. It was time to bring this
Firebird back to life! We decided upon a full restification of the body, paint and interior.

After disassembling the entire car down to a rolling shell, we stripped the entire body down to bare metal and started
from scratch. There were lots of dents and rust to take care of, but we soon had the entire body smooth and solid again. The
car now sports a full, state of the art, DuPont urethane basecoat/clearcoat paint job, which will last forever if properly
maintained. Silver is by far the most difficult color there is to paint because of the metalflake content......but once again
the DuPont Chromasystem showed why it is the choice of the true professional because the paint on this car is stunning. The
interior is beautiful and actually even smells like new again. This car is going to turn some heads.

John is an aviation enthusiast, so when we decided to do the photo shoot on this car, we took it to a local air strip and
took pictures of the car right on the runway. It was a beautiful April day and no planes were coming in......so we got some
nice photos. Keep your eyes peeled in the Baltimore area, because John and Jan plan to enjoy their
Trans Am once again.....and you might just have to compete with them at a car show or two! If you see them out and about, make
sure to say "hello".
